How long do we take?
From the date when we receive the order and deposit, we normally send the proofs within 2-3 business days. Once the proofs have been approved and the balance has been paid, you can expect to receive the finished stationery within a further 7 business days. Orders which involve very large quantities or complex special artwork may take a little longer, but the absolute maximum, from receipt of order to arrival of finished stationery, is 20 business days (U.K.), 24 business days (European Community) or 30 business days (U.S.A., Canada, Australasia, Far East).  ‘Business days’ do not include Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. The count of days begins on the day following receipt of the order or approved proofs.

Of course these timescales do not include the time you take in considering the proofs;  this is not within our control.
How do we deliver?
U.K.  Most items are sent by Royal Mail first-class post (packet rate) with Recorded Delivery.  These are normally delivered on the day following despatch, although some offshore destinations (e.g. Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish islands) may require an extra day.   Please note that the delivery date is not guaranteed and that compensation for lost or damaged parcels is limited to £41.00.  This means that if goods are lost or damaged through no fault of ours, we will have to charge for replacing them.  However, for an additional £10.00 we will send goods by an overnight courier service or by Royal Mail Special Delivery; both services have a guaranteed next-day delivery date and are fully insured.
Rest of world  Items may be sent either by various Royal Mail insured priority services or by a courier service.  Transit time may be a maximum of 9 business days to Australasia or the Far East, although it is often less;  in the U.S.A. and Canada most parcels are delivered within 4-5 business days.
In every case a signature will be required on delivery, so that it is important to choose an address where somebody will be available to sign throughout normal working hours.  In the U.K. we can undertake to deliver on a specific day, but we cannot control the time of arrival.
What does it cost?
U.K.  There is a carriage charge of £7.50 on orders worth up to £100.00 or £14.00 on larger orders. Rest of world  Shipping charges are calculated as a percentage of the net value of the order.   Certain items, such as special artwork, are not reckoned as part of this value, since they do not affect the weight of the consignment.   There is a minimum charge of £15.00 and a ceiling of £65.00.   Subject to these limits, the percentages are: - European Community 10%, U.S.A./Canada 15%, rest of the world 20%.
Express delivery
This is a service which cuts our U.K. turn-round time to a maximum of 10 working days plus your approval time;  this is done chiefly by reducing the maximum for supplying proofs from 10 business days to 72 hours.   It costs £35 ($56.00) which must be paid with the deposit when placing the order, so that the total deposit becomes £110.  Overseas customers can also save up to 7 days by this method.    We have been known to complete express orders to the U.S.A. within ten days (including week-ends) from start to finish!
Please note that on split orders (see how  to order) the express-delivery charge only covers the first stage.
Problems?
If your goods have not arrived by 5 p.m. on the day specified, please call us and we will investigate at once.   Deliveries can take place later than this, but if there is any suggestion of a delay we prefer to be alerted at once, for your peace of mind and ours too.
