Our site has now been integrated with RomanCart, a tried and tested shopping-cart suite incorporating a fully secure payment facility for those who wish to pay by credit or debit card. We have designed the cart in a somewhat unusual way in order to allow for our pricing structure and payment methods. Please, therefore, take a little time to read this page before proceeding.
STAGE I – CHOOSING THE MATERIAL Because of the many different combinations of item, format, quantity and material that we offer, we have spread the order form over two pages: this one for standard materials and this one for Luxury materials. Thus you need to have decided on your choice of material before placing your order. STAGE 2 – CHOOSING ITEMS AND QUANTITIES Let us suppose that you wish to order 60 wedding invitations in Style F. Each of the order forms consists largely of tables, with quantities from 10 to 200 printed across the top and different formats listed down the left-hand side, In the first of these tables (WEDDING INVITATIONS), read along the top until you reach the figure 60. Then move the cursor downwards until your cursor is level with the words F Large folding, printed front/interior which appear to the left of the table. The cursor should now be over the figures 109.50 which represent the price in pounds. Simply click once on this amount; the details will be transferred to your shopping cart, which will then appear on your screen in a new window. (When you put your first item in the cart, you will be asked to state your country, so that the cart can work out the shipping/carriage rate.) If you wish to order evening (reception) invitations as well, go to the next table and repeat the process for your chosen quantity and format. Do the same for any other items you wish to order. Each time you put an item in the cart, the cart itself will display in a new window. The cart shows the total in U.S. dollars and Euros as well as pounds, and the shipping cost updates itself automatically as you go on.
STAGE 3 – CHECKOUT When you click Checkout in the cart, you will be taken to a new page which begins with boxes for your name and contact details. The checkout page also contains text boxes in which you can give us instructions on wording (although you can send these separately by post, e-mail etc. If you prefer) . Finally you are asked to select your payment method; and at this point there is something important to note: —
Unlike most online suppliers, we do not expect you to pay the full price at the time of ordering.
Instead, we ask for a deposit of £75.00 (about $154.00 or EUR112.50). This will activate your order and we will proceed with the proofs, which will be e-mailed or (in Britain) sent by post. The rest of the order price becomes due when, and only when, you are entirely satisfied with the proofs and are ready to approve them for printing. Because shopping carts generally do not cater for this kind of multiple-stage payment, we have had to improvise a little!
If you elect to pay by cheque or postal order, send £75.00 (British currency only, please) to ROSMEDA GRAPHIC ARTS, 5 Church Street, Carharrack, Redruth, Cornwall TR16 5RW, U.K. You need not send us the full value of the order at this stage (unless you want to, of course!)
For payment by credit card, debit card or PayPal, do not select any of these options (unless, again, you wish to pay in full at once), but instead go to the last option on the list, namely Payment by cheque. This will result in sending us your order details with no payment attached. We will then send you a confirming e-mail giving hyperlinks for PayPal and for our secure online credit/debit card facility, with the deposit amount pre-loaded, and you can choose which of these links to follow. On approval of the proofs we will e-mail you again with a similar link for the balance.
